Challenge

Cyber Dojo’s rapid growth was being held back by its on-premises data center. With resources tied to a
single facility, the infrastructure—made up of servers, databases, and networking equipment—lacked the
flexibility to scale, the cost-efficiency to support growth, and resilience to ensure business continuity.
The absence of a Disaster Recovery (DR) solution further increased the organization’s exposure to
operational disruptions.

Solution

To modernize its infrastructure and ensure business continuity, Cyber Dojo partnered with Redington to
migrate from its on-premises data center to the AWS Cloud. A Lift-and-Shift migration strategy was
adopted, enabling a smooth transition while minimizing downtime and risks.

As part of the migration, Cyber Dojo’s critical workloads, databases, and applications were seamlessly
moved to AWS. A disaster recovery plan was implemented to strengthen resilience, while secure networking
and traffic monitoring safeguarded operations. Automation and backup solutions were also introduced to
optimize performance, reduce costs, and improve availability.

Through this comprehensive cloud adoption strategy, Cyber Dojo now benefits from a scalable, secure, and
future-ready infrastructure capable of supporting its rapid growth.
