It caters to a diverse clientele with varied needs by bringing technology, durability, and low energy consumption for businesses. The Brazil-based customer approached Redington, seeking expert advice to chart its migration plan<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"barred mrgn_btm\">Challenge:<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"inner-lists\">\n<li>Performing agentless scan of the source servers in the customer\u2019s environment.<\/li>\n<li>Identifying the inter-server communications, dependencies by pinpointing the port information.<\/li>\n<li>Conducting extended scan to identify the server&#8217;s performance metrics.<\/li>\n<li>Determining Cloud feasibility and cost modeling based on the results of the scan.<\/li>\n<li>Offering precise suggestions for Lift &#038; Shift migration from the on-prem environment to the Cloud<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"barred mrgn_btm\">Solution:<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"inner-lists\">\n<li>Spotlight used one Vanguard server to perform an agentless scan to gain in-depth information about the servers.<\/li>\n<li>Spotlight identified the communication ports, along with process information and ID, based on which inter-server dependencies were identified.<\/li>\n<li>Extended scan results helped capture the metrics on CPU, memory, and network utilization, based on which equivalence match was made for rightsizing.<\/li>\n<li>Spotlight offered precise TCO of the selected Cloud, which helped the customer to draft a comprehensive migration strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Spotlight offers precise recommendations to empower partners to migrate customer environments from on-prem to Cloud.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The customer had over 11 servers in a single datacenter.
